청주맛집 서문우동 은 중소벤처기업부에서 인증한 백년가게로 50년 이상을 3대째 운영중입니다. 각종 TV프로그램에 우수한 음식점으로 많이 소개되었으며 2010년에 방영된 KBS2 드라마 제빵왕김탁구의 촬영지로도 유명합니다. 청주에 거주하시는 현지분들은 변함없는 맛에 자주 방문한다고 합니다.

Cheongju restaurant seomun-udong has been operating for more than 50 years and is the 3rd generation certified by the ministry of SMEs and Startups. It has been introduced as an excellent restaurant in various TV programs and is also famous as a filming location for the KBS2 drama king of baking, kim tak-goo, which aired in 2010. 밑반찬 / Side dish

청주맛집 서문우동 밑반찬입니다. 다양한 반찬이 나오지는 않으며 단무지만 제공이 됩니다. 일반적인 단무지와 차이가 있어보여서 물어보았는데 사장님께서 직접 만드시는 단무지라고 하네요. 두툼하고 아삭한 식감이 우동과 잘 어울렸습니다.

it is side dish of Cheongju restaurant seomun-udong. Side dishes are pickled radish, but are provided. I asked because it looked different from normal pickled radish, and the owner said it was pickled radish made by himself. The thick and crunchy texture goes well with udon.

서문우동 / Seomun-udong(Seomun-udon)

청주맛집 서문우동의 대표메뉴 서문우동입니다. 우동의 양이 상당히 많아서 1.5인분이라고 느껴졌습니다. 많이 먹을 생각에 곱배기를 주문하면 남길 가능성이 높으니 일반 사이즈로 주문하시는 것이 좋습니다. 매운 것을 좋아하시면 고춧가루를 넣어 드시는 것을 추천합니다. 유부를 좋아하시는 분은 주문할 때 많이 넣어달라고 요청하시면 됩니다. 맛이 깔끔하고 담백하여 쉬지 않고 먹었습니다. 옛날에 대전역에서 먹었던 우동 맛과 비슷하여 옛 추억을 느끼러 오는 분들도 있을 것 같습니다.

If you order a larger size, you are more likely to have leftovers, so we recommend ordering your regular size. If you like spicy food, we recommend adding red pepper powder. If you like fried tofu, you can ask for a lot when ordering. The taste was clean and light, so I ate it without stopping. It is similar to the taste of udon that I ate at Daejeon station in the past, so I think some people come to fell the old memories.

단팥빵 / Danpatppang(Sweet red-bean bread)

청주맛집 서문우동 단팥빵입니다. KBS2 드라마 제빵왕김탁구 에 나왔던 빵이라서 맛이 너무 궁금했습니다. 준비한 수량이 다 판매되면 품절이 될 수 있으니 꼭 먹어보시길 바랍니다. 단팥빵 겉면에는 끈적한 메이플시럽이 발라져 있어서 향이 아주 좋았습니다. 한입 먹어보니 빵 속에 단팥이 묵직하게 가득 들어져 있어서 진하면서도 달콤한 맛에 반했습니다. 입안 가득찬 느낌이 아주 좋았습니다. 배가 불러서 다른 빵을 먹지 못햇지만 다음번에 방문했을 때는 다양한 빵을 즐겨보고 싶습니다.
